“I am a man and all that affects mankind concerns me”
- (Page 43 of Jail notebook of Bhagat Singh)
“The aim of life is no more to control mind, but to develop it harmoniously, not to achieve salvation here after, but to make the best use of it here below, and not to realise truth, beauty and good only in contemplation, but also in-the actual experience of daily life; social progress depends not upon the ennoblement of the few but on the enrichment democracy or universal brotherhod can be achieved only when there is an equality of opportunity of opportunity in the social, political and individual life.”

A soldier saw Captain Batra’s eyes on that fateful night and it reminded him of a lgendary animal’s eyes of cat family. He wondered which animal’s eyes? The slodier had once spotted a “Snow Leopard” at a close range and Captain Batra’s eyes reminded him of Snow Leopard. He said ti himself “O Shershah it’s the night of the Snow Leopard because only a Snow Leopard can move towrds its target at such a pace in this unforgiving weather”.
(I read this in recetly released comis book)
Salute to Captain Batra. The bravest of the braves. The Snow Leopard. Thanks we are safe because there are people like him to care for us.

My Father wrote a song some 30 years ago for the Martyrs. I am recalling some lines of the same-song here:
“hind veeron ne dushman pachada
matribhumi ne unko pukara
ab jiyen ya maren, is bala se talen
humne thana, badal denge sara zamana
hind ke nauzawan desh ke paaswan
badhte jana, kaise bhulen shaheedi zamana”…..
Jai Jawan–Jai Bharat
November 25, 2008 at 6:40 pm
Today, I wanted to write something motivational again for our National Hero: Though these lines are not mine but they suit well as if our Captain is saying it to enemy:
”
”

My HERO
March 4, 2009 at 9:24 am
capt. Vikram was a great martyr. The only i want to say about him as for all the indian soldiers…
An indian soldier says
And if i die in an old drop zone
Bare up and send me home
Pin my medals up my chest
Tell my mom i did my best
And tell all those pretty girls not to cry
B’coz i am a soldier
and
have to die…

We always proud on the great secrifice made by our war heros. Few know , more unknown. Our government never even think to build a war memorial.
We should pay our deep regards to our very own known and unknown war hero whenevr met with thier faimily(as now thier parents are our responsibility, as they already give thier son to US) .
